Reliable airlines for domestic sectors are Buddha Air, Yeti Air, Shree Airlines, Saurya Airlines. Other flights and sectors are seasonal.

Nepal Domestic Airports

Not all airports are operational and not all airlines are flying.

Brief information about Nepali airlines and their flying sectors.

Nepal Airlines Domestic Sectors, To and From : from Kathmandu to Phaplu, Taplejung, Baglung, Bhojpur, Rukum, Lukla, Chaurjahari.

Nepalgunj to Rukum, Chaurjahari, Talcha, Dolpa, Bajura, Simikot, Sanfebagar and Jumla and Biratnagaro to Bhojpur.

Buddha Air sectors are Kathmandu to Varanasi in India, Paro in Bhutan, (Chartered) and Kolkata in India. Buddha Air domestic sectors are, VV, Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Tumlingtar, Janakpur, Simara, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Surkhet, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi.

Buddha Air has regular Mountain flights to Everest and frequent Mountain flights from Pokhara to Annapurna and Machhapuchhree. Budhha Air also has Bharatpur-Pokhara and Bhairahawa-Pokhara flights. Buddha Air has ATR42, ATR72, and Beech craft in operation.

Yeti Airlines has Jet stream and ATR-72. Yeti Airlines flies Himalayan Airlines to international sectors which is a joint venture with Tibet Airlines. Yeti Airlines flies to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Tumlingtar, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Pokhara from Kathmandu and makes regular flights to Mountain.

Shree Airlines has Bombardier CRJ200 and Bombardier CRJ700. Shree Airlines flies to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi from Kathmandu. It also fly to the Mountain.

Saurya Airlines has Bombardier CRJ200. Saurya Airlines flies from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi.

Simrik Airlines has Beach craft 1900C and Jet Stream and operates from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Bharatpur and Bhairahawa.

Summit Air Nepal has Cessna Grand Caravan and Let 410 and it offers flights to Phaplu, Lukla, Taplejung, Bajura, and other seasonal airports in Nepal. Its secondary hub is Nepalgunj and makes frequent flights to remote sectors in west Nepal.

Tara Air has Dornier Do 228, De Haviland Canada DHC and Viking Air DHC 6 and serves Kathmandu to Lukla and from Nepalgunj and Pokhara to remote airstrips in West Nepal.

Sita Air has Dornier Do 228 and makes seasonal flights from Kathmandu to Manthali, Phaplu, Pokhara, and Tumlingtar and frequent flights from Nepalgunj to airports in West Nepal.

Guna Airlines will be operating flights soon with BAE Jetstream41.
