Rafting in Marshyangdi - 3 Days

Marshyangdi, meaning ragging water in local dialect, River Rafting is steepest and wild and needs experienced Kayak to pass through the splendid raging waters. Please do not underestimate the power of the Himalayan Water. Since its water flows from the highest points from the Annapurna Range, its flow is very strong and the fastest current gives the crew ultimate adventure in the water kingdom. Marshyangdi River offers 8/10 technically difficult levels and demands brave and experienced crews.

What you need to tell us

Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip.
Don’t forget to request vegetarian meals if required.

Your safety is no. 1 concern to us. Our staff are trained in CPR, First Aid and advanced river rescue techniques.

Marshyangdi River Rafting Itinerary

Day 1
Travel to Starting Point of Rafting

We will drive to Bhulbhule via Beshi Sahar. It might take a day to reach there with normal speed driving, passing over Beshi sahar and reaching Bhulbhule for the night camp. Please attend the orientation speech by the guide before the dinner.

Day 2
Rafting Day

From Bhulbhule, we will raft down in speedy and white wild water down to the Dam at Marshyangdi Hydro. We will make a switch to the land for snacks or lunch and return to water again until we reach Poudi. This will be our resting place for the night with the Burn Fire.

Day 3
Last Day of Raft

On the last day of our water adventure, we will flow down and down from Poundi to Turture. You have rafted 47Km from Bhulbhule to Bimal Nagar, witnessing the strongest River in Nepal, from there you can return to Kathmandu or go to Chitwan for Jungle Safari, or Pokhara.

How many in the group and how many in the raft?

The group size is required minimum 4 people above for each trip, each raft must be at least 6 pax and a guide, however we can add up to 8 pax depending on rivers.

How many actual hours in the water?

Normally the rafting duration approximately 4-5 hours each day on the water.

Where will you camp each night?

We camp each night by the river bank on the sandy beach everyday new camp site where we could set up tents.

What types of food will we be eating?

We provide both vegetarian and non vegetarian meals which is hygienically prepared by our team members everyday.

What do you cook in over or in fire? What will happen to the garbage?

We use LP Gas as a cooking fuel or kerosene stove and we take care all the garbage disposable and non disposable properly and non disposable bring it back to the town for recycle

What do people do in the evening?
