Rara Lake Trekking
There are many options to reach Rara Lake, we have only two options for you. First option is to take a private car and get close to Rara Lake. Other option is take Kathmandu-Nepalgunj flight and from Nepalgunj-Talcha Airport or do the same with your return, or Kathmandu-Surkhet, Surkhet-Talcha depending on the availability of the flight.
Vicinity attraction
Rara Lake is located west north in Nepal and there is a seasonal flight from Nepalgunj Airport to Talcha Airport. Rara Lake is protected by Rara National Park and is the habitat of animals like Wild Boar, Himalayan Thar, Leopard, and Himalayan Black bear, Ghoral are found in vicinity. Its forest is filled with blue pine, black juniper, Himalayan spruce, Oak, Himalayan Cypress.

Overview
Rara Lake, they called it, swarga ko apsara, meaning beauty queen of heaven, because it’s the most beautiful place. It converts its color according to sunlight. Rara Lake is largest in Nepal with area of 10.8sq at the altitude of 2990m from the sea level.
