River Rafting in Trishuli Nepal is one of the most popular river rafting destinations in Nepal. It offers great scenery, thrilling rapids and impressive gorges. Most city people in Nepal do the Trishuli River Rafting simply because its the best option for relaxing and giving some fresh air to their processor mind.

It takes around 2:30 hrs drive to get to the rafting starting spot. After having the rafting preparation, orientation and safety briefing, we start our 3 hour breathtaking rafting adventure down the Trishuli River. Our rafting ends by 3:00 pm at Kurintar from here we can drive back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1
Kathmandu to Charaudi (Baireni) to Kurinighat

Tourist Bus or Luxurious Car leave Kathmandu at around 7 AM. It will be around two and Half hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Charaundi. People eagerly watch over your proceedings as you prepare for rafting. They are friendly and fascinated by your water gear, cap, life jacket, short outfits really fascinates the locals. When every things looks good, you might want to have a tea break before you get into the boat. Once you are equipped with outfit, crew master will share important talk on safety and precaution and what to do and what not to do. Ratings are in International Rating standard and the crew master will inform you how may level you will be encountering. After hours of diving you will have outdoor lunch which everyone likes since this is out of home lunch. Lunch breaks gives you all a time to share your experiences and challenges you face.
After Lunch, you cross Trishuli Gorge which is most adventurous life experience as you see steep wall of mountain to your both sides, you could see the only sky over your head, and the current is rapid and hold tight to the boat.
After the gorge you will see the long Iron Suspension bridge and you might see people waving their hands and cheering ups. You will wonder at the nature’s geological formation as you paddle.
You reach Kuringhat and this is the place for rest, after hours of chill in the river, you have a hot Chicken or mushroom soup waiting for you. Wait, day is not done yet. How about helping guide pitch your and their tent? Getting to know other is best done in team work. You have witnessed together the hardest challenge and still you are together. Wonderful. Still more things to come, ask if you could collect firewood to make a burn fire at the night in the river, close to your camp. Spending the night in burn fire in the close to the river bank is something you could never ever forget in your lifetime. Cherish the memory.

Day 2
Kurinighat to Simaltar and over

‘Good Morning, how was your sleep,’ will start the 2nd day of the adventure rafting. After breakfast and like yesterday, we will say by to Kuringhat beach flow toward the Simaltar. Prepare yourself for yet another adventure with rapid current and lovely flows of the Trishuli. It gets bigger, dipper and wider as you flow down further. Green Jungles, High Mountains, Harvest fields of steps in the terrain are beautiful. You will meet some notable river just as you raft down the valley. Like Seti River and Marsyangdi River which are popular for white water rafting, it’s more technical then Trishuli. When you flow further down and reach Tea Pot, it’s the end of the Trishuli River Rafting. Thank you for giving us opportunity to guide you and show you the real Nepal.
From here, you have three places to go. 1. Pokhara, a valley like Kathmandu but less populated and less pollution (2 Hours). 2. Go to Jungle Safari in Royal Chitwan National Park (100 minutes) you might want to shop in Naranghat Bazar or head back to Kathmandu (3 hours).

How many in the group and how many in the raft?

The group size is required minimum 4 people above for each trip, each raft must be at least 6 pax and a guide, however we can add up to 8 pax depending on rivers.

How long each day and how many hours in actual water?

Normally the rafting duration approximately 4-5 hours each day on the water.

Where will be the camping sight at night?

We camp each night by the river bank on the sandy beach everyday new camp site where we could set up tents.

What kind of food will we be eating?

We provide both vegetarian and non vegetarian meals which is hygienically prepared by our team members everyday.

What do you cook on-fire and in stoves and what will happen to the garbage?

We use LP Gas as a cooking fuel or kerosene stove and we take care all the garbage disposable and non disposable properly and non disposable bring it back to the town for recycle
